Method

Fish Preparation

1

Prepare the Coating

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.

2

Prepare the Fish

In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Dip each fish fillet into the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mixture. Make sure each fillet is well coated.

3

Fry the Fish

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the coated fish fillets. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy. Remove fish and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Cabbage Slaw Preparation

4

Mix the Slaw Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine thinly sliced cabbage, grated carrot, sliced red onion, lime juice, salt, black pepper, and chopped cilantro. Toss well to combine and let sit for at least 10 minutes for flavors to meld.

Cilantro Lime Dressing Preparation

5

Prepare the Dressing

In a small bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, lime juice, chopped cilantro, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until smooth and well combined.

Assembly

6

Assemble the Tacos

Warm the corn tortillas in a skillet or microwave. To each tortilla, add a piece of crispy fish, a generous portion of cabbage slaw, and drizzle with cilantro lime dressing. Serve immediately.
