Method
Mushrooms Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- 2
Clean the Mushrooms
Gently clean the wild mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Avoid washing them under water to prevent sogginess.
- 3
Season the Mushrooms
In a large bowl, toss the mushrooms with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until they are evenly coated.
- 4
Roast the Mushrooms
Spread the mushrooms on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden and tender.
Truffle Butter Preparation
- 5
Make Truffle Butter
In a small bowl, mix the softened unsalted butter with truffle oil until well combined. Set aside.
Crispy Leeks Preparation
- 6
Prepare the Leek
Trim the roots and dark green tops from the leek. Slice the leek into thin rings and rinse thoroughly to remove any dirt or sand.
- 7
Coat the Leeks
In a bowl, toss the sliced leeks with all-purpose flour and salt until they are well coated.
- 8
Fry the Leeks
In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the coated leeks in small batches until they are golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
