Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Salmon

Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

2

Season the Fillets

In a bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture onto both sides of the salmon fillets.

3

Prepare the Lemon

Cut the lemon in half. Squeeze the juice of one half over the fillets, reserving the other half for serving.

Herb Mixture

4

Chop the Herbs

Finely chop the fresh dill and mince the garlic cloves.

5

Combine the Herb Mixture

In a small bowl, combine the chopped dill and minced garlic. This will be used to top the salmon.

Cooking

6

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

7

Place Salmon in Baking Dish

Place the seasoned salmon fillets in a baking dish lined with parchment paper.

8

Add Herb Topping

Sprinkle the herb mixture evenly over the top of the salmon fillets.

9

Bake the Salmon

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

10

Serve the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve with the remaining lemon half on the side.
