Method

Prepare the Pâté

    Blend the Ingredients

    In a food processor, combine the smoked fish, cream cheese, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, dill, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.

    Chill the Pâté

    Transfer the pâté to a serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Pickle the Vegetables

    Prepare the Pickling Brine

    In a saucepan, combine the white vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a simmer over medium heat until the sugar and salt dissolve.

    Pickle the Vegetables

    Place the cucumbers, radishes, and carrots in a jar. Pour the hot pickling brine over the vegetables. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Make the Crostini

    Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and bake for 5-7 minutes or until golden and crisp.
