Method
Espresso Preparation
- 1
Grind the Coffee
Using a coffee grinder, grind 16 grams of espresso coffee beans to a fine consistency. Ensure the grind is suitable for espresso machines.
- 2
Prepare the Espresso Shot
Pack the ground coffee into the espresso machine's portafilter and tamp it down firmly. Lock the portafilter into the machine and start the brewing process to extract two shots of espresso (approximately 60 ml).
Milk Steaming
- 3
Heat the Milk
Pour 240 ml of your choice of milk into a steaming pitcher. Use a steam wand to heat the milk until it reaches about 65-70°C (149-158°F). The milk should be frothy and creamy, with a velvety texture.
- 4
Froth the Milk
As you heat the milk, angle the steam wand to create a whirlpool effect, which helps incorporate air into the milk, creating microfoam.

Add Finishing Touches
