Cooking Instructions

1

Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

Make the Cheese Sauce

In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute until bubbly. Gradually add the milk, whisking continuously until the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

3

Add Cheese and Seasonings

Remove the pot from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Then add salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well.

4

Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce, stirring until the pasta is evenly coated.

5

Prepare for Baking

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac and cheese mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the bread crumbs on top.

6

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.

7

Serve

Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your homemade mac & cheese!
