Preparation

1

Preheat and Prepare

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 2-quart baking dish with butter.

2

Layer Ingredients

In the prepared baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes at the bottom. Spread half of the grated horseradish over the potatoes, followed by half of the minced garlic. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

3

Add Cream and Cheese

Pour half of the heavy cream over the first layer. Sprinkle half of the cheddar and parmesan cheese on top. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.

4

Final Touch

Finish with a layer of remaining cream and cheese on top.

5

Bake

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the potatoes are tender.

6

Cool and Serve

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
