Mushroom Preparation

Method

Mushroom Preparation

  1. 1

    Clean the Mushrooms

Gently wipe the mushrooms with a damp cloth to clean them. Remove the stems by gently twisting and pulling them out. Set the caps aside and finely chop the stems.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Caps

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large mixing bowl, toss the mushroom caps with the olive oil until they are evenly coated. Arrange the caps on a baking sheet, cavity side up.

Stuffing Mixture

  1. 3

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  2. 4

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Using a spoon, generously fill each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, pressing down slightly to ensure they are well packed.

Baking

  1. 5

    Bake the Stuffed Mushrooms

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.

  2. 6

    Serve

Remove the stuffed mushrooms from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm as an appetizer or side dish.
