Preparation of Cajun Remoulade

Make the Remoulade
In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, paprika, chopped green onions, chopped parsley, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Set aside in the refrigerator to chill.

Season the Tuna
Pat the yellowfin tuna steaks dry with a paper towel. Rub Cajun seasoning over both sides of the tuna steaks evenly.

Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

Prepare the Asparagus
Trim the tough ends off the asparagus. Steam the asparagus in a steamer basket or microwave for about 5-7 minutes, until tender yet crisp.

Cook the Rice
In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the white rice, cover, and reduce the heat to low. Cook for 15-20 minutes until the rice is fluffy and water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes.

Plate the Dish
On a large plate, serve the cooked tuna steaks alongside the steamed asparagus and fluffy white rice. Add a generous dollop of the Cajun remoulade on the side or on top of the tuna.
