Boil the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add 2 cups of macaroni pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Add Milk
Gradually whisk in 2 cups of milk, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue to whisk until the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

Incorporate Cheeses
Reduce the heat to low and stir in 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese and 1 cup of cream cheese. Mix until smooth and creamy. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper.

Combine Pasta and Sauce
In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained macaroni pasta with the cheese sauce. Stir until all pasta is evenly coated.

Prepare Topping
In a small bowl, mix together 1 cup of breadcrumbs, 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, and 1 teaspoon of paprika.

Transfer to Baking Dish
Pour the mac and cheese mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Evenly spread the breadcrumb topping over the pasta.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the mac and cheese for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
