Method
Preparing the Burger Patty
- 1
Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground Angus beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the spices are evenly distributed.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center to prevent puffing while cooking.

Cook the Patties
In the same skillet, add the burger patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties, and place a slice of American cheese on each patty. Continue cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach desired doneness.

Toast the Buns
While the patties are finishing cooking, lightly toast the burger buns in the skillet or toaster.

Add Toppings
On the bottom half of each bun, layer the lettuce, followed by the cooked burger patty with melted cheese, crispy bacon strips, tomato slices, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
