Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Form Patties
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 3/4 inch thick.

Assembling the Burger

Prepare Toppings
While the patties are cooking, wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Slice the tomato into thick slices.

Assemble Burger
Once the patties are cooked, toast the burger buns if desired. On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a cooked patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, and a generous amount of pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve the burgers immediately with your favorite sides, such as fries or a salad.
