Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

In a bowl, combine the chicken with olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chicken

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  3. 3

    Make the Garlic Aioli

In a small bowl, finely chop the garlic cloves and mix them with mayonnaise. Adjust the salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

Dice the tomato and onion. If using pickles, slice them into thin strips.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Shawarma Wrap

Lay the tortilla or pita flat. Spread a generous amount of garlic aioli on the base. Add sliced chicken, diced tomato, onion, pickles, and a drizzle of tahini. If desired, add slices of brie cheese.

  6. 6

    Wrap It Up

Fold the sides of the tortilla or pita over the filling, then roll tightly from the bottom up to form a wrap.

  7. 7

    Serve

Cut the wrap in half and serve immediately, optionally with extra garlic aioli or tahini on the side.
