Kufta

Method

Kufta Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef or lamb, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, black pepper, and olive oil. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  2. 2

    Shape Kufta

Take a handful of the mixture and shape it into elongated patties or skewers. Repeat until all the mixture is used.

  3. 3

    Refrigerate

Cover the shaped kufta and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Lamb Chops Preparation

  1. 4

    Marinate Lamb Chops

In a bowl, mix minced garlic, chopped rosemary, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Rub this marinade onto the lamb chops and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Kabob Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare Kabob Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine cubed chicken or lamb, bell pepper, onion, olive oil, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

  2. 6

    Skewer Kabobs

Thread the marinated meat and vegetables onto skewers, alternating between the meat and veggies.

Tzatziki Sauce Preparation

  1. 7

    Mix Tzatziki Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and chopped dill. Mix well until smooth and creamy.

Grilling

  1. 8

    Preheat Grill

Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

  2. 9

    Grill Kufta and Kabobs

Place kufta and kabobs on the grill. Cook kufta for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Grill kabobs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the meat is cooked through and vegetables are tender.

  3. 10

    Grill Lamb Chops

Grill the marinated lamb chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Serving

  1. 11

    Plate and Serve

Serve the grilled kufta, lamb chops, and kabobs on a platter with the tzatziki sauce on the side.
