Salad Base

Pita Croutons

Lemon Vinaigrette

Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Halve the cherry tomatoes, slice the cucumber, and thinly slice the radishes. Chop the green onions and mint leaves. Combine all these ingredients in a large salad bowl.

Pita Croutons Preparation

  1. 2

    Make Pita Croutons

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the pita bread into small triangles. In a mixing bowl, toss the pita triangles with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt until well coated. Spread them out on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through.

Lemon Vinaigrette Preparation

  1. 3

    Mix the Vinaigrette

In a small bowl, whisk together the fresh lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well blended. Adjust the seasoning to taste.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Combine and Serve

Once the pita croutons are ready, add them to the salad bowl with the vegetables. Drizzle the lemon vinaigrette over the salad and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately.
