Lobster Mac & Cheese Ingredients

Method

Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute, creating a roux. Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue to whisk until the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add the Cheese

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the cheddar and Gruyère cheeses until melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

  4. 4

    Combine with Lobster and Pasta

Fold in the cooked macaroni and lobster meat into the cheese sauce until well combined.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Topping

In a small bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs with chopped parsley and a drizzle of olive oil. This will create a flavorful topping.

  6. 6

    Bake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac and cheese mixture into a greased baking dish. Evenly sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your creamy lobster mac & cheese!
