Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of 1792 Bourbon, 0.5 oz of rich simple syrup, and 2 dashes of aromatic bitters.

Stir and Chill
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture until well chilled, about 30 seconds.

Strain
Strain the mixture into an old fashioned glass filled with ice.

Garnish with an orange twist and a maraschino cherry.
