Combine with Broth
Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it cook for 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Remove bay leaves.
- 4
Add Brisket
Stir in the shredded brisket and heat through, about 5 minutes.
- 5
Prepare for Baking
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Ladle the soup into oven-safe crocks, leaving some space for the toppings.
- 6
Add Toppings
Top each crock with jumbo croutons and a generous amount of Swiss and provolone cheese.
- 7
Bake
Place the crocks on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 8
Serve
Carefully remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Brisket French Onion Soup!
