Method

Hot Dog Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Hot Dogs

Grill or boil the all-beef hot dogs according to your preference until heated through and slightly charred (if grilling). This usually takes about 5-7 minutes on a grill or 3-5 minutes if boiling.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Potato Rolls

While the hot dogs are cooking, lightly toast the potato rolls on the grill or in a toaster for about 2-3 minutes until they are warm and slightly golden.

Making the Chicago Style Relish

  1. 3

    Mix the Relish Ingredients

In a bowl, combine the sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, chopped onions, tomato slices, pickled sport peppers, and celery salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Assemble the Galley Dog

Place a hot dog into each toasted potato roll. Top generously with the Chicago style relish mixture. Make sure to include all the ingredients for a true Chicago experience.

  2. 5

    Serve with Chips

Serve the Galley Dogs with a side of potato chips from the bag. Enjoy your meal!
