Clean the Calamari
Clean the calamari by removing the outer skin and innards. Cut the rings and tentacles into bite-sized pieces if needed. Rinse under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- 2
Prepare Vegetables
Chop the cherry peppers into small pieces, removing seeds if desired. Mince the garlic and finely chop the shallots. Roughly chop the kale, removing the hard stems.
Cooking

Sauté Garlic and Shallots
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped shallots, sautéing for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant and translucent.
- 4
Add Cherry Peppers
Add the chopped cherry peppers to the skillet and sauté for another 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften.
- 5
Cook Calamari
Increase the heat to medium-high and add the cleaned calamari. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the calamari is opaque and cooked through. Season with salt and black pepper.
