Buffalo Style Fried Shrimp

Buffalo Style Fried Shrimp

    Prepare the Shrimp

    In a medium bowl, combine the buttermilk and hot sauce, then add the shrimp, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

    Prepare the Breading

    In a separate bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, place the beaten egg.

    Bread the Shrimp

    Remove the shrimp from the marinade, allowing excess liquid to drip off. Dip each shrimp in the egg, then coat in the flour mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.

    Fry the Shrimp

    In a deep skillet, heat the oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the shrimp in batches, about 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.

Coconut Breaded Fried Shrimp
