Cooking the Pasta
- 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.
- 2
Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions, usually around 10-12 minutes, until al dente.
- 3
Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.
Cooking the Chicken
- 4
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 5
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- 6
Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- 7
Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.
Making the Alfredo Sauce
- 8
- 9
Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 10
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- 11
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and continue to stir until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.
- 12
Add chopped parsley to the sauce and season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
Combining Everything

Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat the pasta evenly.
- 14
Top the pasta with sliced chicken and serve immediately.
