Dip Preparation

Prepare the Tomato Dip
In a medium bowl, combine the goat cheese, canned diced tomatoes (with juices), minced garlic, red pepper flakes, olive oil, fresh basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Transfer to Baking Dish
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.

Bake
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the dip for 20-25 minutes, or until it is hot and bubbly.
Crostini Preparation

Prepare the Baguette
While the dip is baking, slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Brush with Olive Oil
Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder and salt.

Bake Crostinis
Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.

Remove the dip and crostinis from the oven. Serve the flaming tomato dip hot with garlic crostinis on the side.
