Collect all the ingredients: bourbon, Big O ginger liqueur, simple syrup, fresh lemon juice, lemon wheel for garnish, and a large ice cube.

Using a jigger, measure out 2 oz of bourbon, 1 oz of Big O ginger liqueur, 0.5 oz of simple syrup, and 0.5 oz of fresh lemon juice.

In a mixing glass, combine the measured bourbon, Big O ginger liqueur, simple syrup, and fresh lemon juice.

Add ice to the mixing glass and stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Take a rocks glass and place the large ice cube in it.
