Olive Oil and Seasoning

Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil Water

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.

  2. 2

    Cook Pasta

Add the pasta to boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

  3. 3

    Drain Pasta

Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside. Reserve some pasta water (about 1 cup) for later use.

Preparing Vegetables

  1. 4

    Chop Vegetables

While the pasta is cooking, chop the bell peppers, zucchini, carrot, and broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 5

    Halve Cherry Tomatoes

Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.

Cooking Vegetables

  1. 6

    Sauté Garlic

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 7

    Add Vegetables

Add the chopped bell peppers, zucchini, carrot, and broccoli to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they start to soften.

  3. 8

    Add Cherry Tomatoes

Stir in the halved cherry tomatoes and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 9

    Mix Pasta and Vegetables

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Pour in the remaining olive oil and mix well.

  2. 10

    Season the Dish

Season the pasta primavera with salt, black pepper, and fresh basil. Toss to combine.

  3. 11

    Serve

Serve warm, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
