Method

Preparation

  1. 1

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

  2. 2

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

  3. 3

    Add Chocolate Chips

Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

  4. 4

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the cookie dough to a large oven-safe skillet, spreading it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a drizzle of salted caramel, and a sprinkle of sea salt.
