1. Prepare the mushrooms

Clean the cremini and wild mushrooms by brushing off any dirt. Slice them evenly. Mince the garlic.

2. Toast the bread

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the slices of French bread and toast until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.

5. Deglaze with Marsala

Pour in the Marsala wine, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly reduced.

6. Serve

Serve the sautéed mushrooms over the toasted French bread slices. Enjoy while warm.
