Cookie Ingredients

Method

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

  3. 3

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. 4

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

  5. 5

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chunks.

  6. 6

Transfer the cookie dough into a greased cast iron skillet and spread it out evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

  7. 7

Once the cookie is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Top with scoops of your favorite ice cream, drizzle with hot fudge, and finish with whipped cream and a cherry.
