Collect all the ingredients needed for the cocktail: mezcal, Fresno tequila, cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, lime wedge, and fresh cranberries.

If you do not have simple syrup on hand, combine equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan. Heat until the sugar dissolves, then let cool.

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour in 1.5 oz of mezcal, 0.5 oz of Fresno tequila, 2 oz of cranberry juice, 0.5 oz of fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup.

Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well mixed and chilled.
