Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Brew the Coffee

Start by brewing a fresh cup of coffee using your preferred method (drip, French press, etc.). Aim for a strong brew that can stand up to the cream and whiskey.

  2. 2

    Combine Ingredients

In a heat-resistant glass or Irish coffee mug, combine 2 oz of Irish cream and 1 oz of Irish whiskey. Stir gently to mix the two liquids.

  3. 3

    Add Coffee

Pour 6 oz of the freshly brewed coffee into the glass with the Irish cream and whiskey mixture. Stir gently to combine all ingredients.

Garnishing

  1. 4

    Top with Whipped Cream

Spoon 1 tablespoon of whipped cream on top of the coffee mixture. This will create a delicious creamy layer.

  2. 5

    Sprinkle Cocoa or Nutmeg

For an extra touch, sprinkle a teaspoon of cocoa powder or ground nutmeg over the whipped cream. This adds flavor and a decorative touch.
