Juicing the Lemon
Squeeze the juice from a fresh lemon until you have about 1 oz of lemon juice. Strain to remove any seeds and set aside.

Mixing the Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour in 2 oz of bourbon, 1 oz of blackberry cordial, and 1 oz of freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Shaking the Mixture
Shake the cocktail shaker vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice.

Garnish your drink with 3 fresh blackberries and a lemon wheel on the rim of the glass.
