Method

Preparing the Coffee

1

Boil Water

In a kettle, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium heat. Make sure not to overboil.

2

Add Coffee

Once the water is boiling, remove the kettle from heat and add 1 cup of coarse ground coffee to the water.

3

Steep Coffee

Allow the coffee to steep for about 4 minutes. This will extract the flavors and aroma from the coffee grounds.

4

Strain Coffee

After 4 minutes, strain the coffee using a fine mesh strainer or a coffee filter to separate the liquid from the grounds.

Flavoring the Coffee

5

Mix Flavor Enhancements

In a separate small bowl or cup, mix 1 tsp of cinnamon powder, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, and 2 tbs of brown sugar until well combined.

6

Combine Coffee and Flavoring

Add the flavor enhancement mixture to the strained coffee and stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved.

7

Add Milk or Cream

Pour in 1 cup of milk or cream to the flavored coffee and stir gently to combine.
