Instructions

1

Prepare the Dough

In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy. Add melted butter, eggs, and salt. Gradually mix in flour until a dough forms.

2

Knead and Rise

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

3

Prepare the Filling

In a bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. If using bacon, add it to the mixture.

4

Roll out the Dough

After the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle on a floured surface.

5

Add Filling

Spread the filling mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

6

Roll and Cut

Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other and cut into 12 equal rolls.

7

Second Rise

Place the rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

8

Bake

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

9

Prepare the Frosting

While the rolls are baking, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

10

Frost and Serve

Once the rolls are done, let them cool slightly, then frost with the cream cheese frosting and serve warm.
