In a separate bowl, combine the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, chopped walnuts, melted butter, and salt. Mix until the ingredients are evenly combined and crumbly.

Once the apples are softened, sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apples in the skillet.
