Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Form the Patties

In a large bowl, combine the grass fed ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, then form into 4 equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of white cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the grill or skillet to melt the cheese.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 4

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the brioche buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 5

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, layer lettuce, a cooked patty with melted cheese, pickles, tomato slices, and onion slices. Add ketchup and mustard to your taste.

  3. 6

    Add Optional Toppings

For additional flavor, add sliced avocado, crispy bacon, or a fried egg on top of the burger before placing the top half of the bun on.

  4. 7

    Serve

Serve immediately with your choice of side dishes.
