Beef Brisket Preparation

Season the Brisket
Rub the beef brisket with olive oil, salt, black pepper, cumin, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Cook the Brisket
Place the seasoned brisket in a slow cooker. Pour in the beef broth and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender and easily pulled apart.

Shred the Brisket
Once cooked, remove the brisket from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Set aside.

Thinly slice the yellow onions.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and salt. Cook, stirring frequently, for about 20-25 minutes until the onions are golden brown and caramelized.

Add sour cream, lime juice, and salt to the mashed avocado. Stir until well combined.

Chop the tomatoes, jalapeño, and garlic cloves.

In a dry skillet, warm the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
