Method
Fish Preparation
- 1
- 2
Cook the Fish
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated fish and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat and break the fish into bite-sized pieces.
- 3
Warm the Tortillas
In the same skillet, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.
Cabbage Slaw Preparation
- 4
Combine the Slaw Ingredients
In a large bowl, mix together the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Toss until well combined. Set aside to allow the flavors to meld.
Chipotle Sauce Preparation
- 5
Make the Chipotle Sauce
In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, minced chipotle peppers, lime juice, garlic powder, and salt until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Assembly
- 6
Assemble the Tacos
To assemble, place a generous amount of cooked fish on each warmed tortilla. Top with cabbage slaw and drizzle with chipotle sauce. Serve immediately.
