Method

Preparation of Dry Ingredients

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Whisk until well combined.

Preparation of Wet Ingredients

  1. 2

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 3

    Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures

Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and gently stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are fine.

Cooking Pancakes

  1. 4

    Heat the Griddle

Preheat a non-stick griddle or frying pan over medium heat. Lightly grease with a little butter or cooking spray.

  2. 5

    Cook the Pancakes

Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve Hot

Serve the pancakes warm with a dollop of honey butter on top and a drizzle of organic maple syrup.
