Prepare Burger Sauce

Mix the Sauce
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pickle juice. Stir until well mixed and set aside.
Form the Burger Patties

Prepare the Beef
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground Angus beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently to combine without overworking the meat.

Shape the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each into a patty, about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.
Cook the Burger Patties

Add Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
Assemble the Cheeseburger

Prepare the Buns
Toast the brioche buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Layer the Toppings
Spread a generous amount of burger sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place the lettuce leaves, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, sliced tomato, pickles, and onion on top.

Complete the Burger
Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
