Preparation of Shrimp

    Marinate Shrimp

    In a mixing bowl, combine the peeled and deveined raw shrimp with fresh lime juice. Ensure that all shrimp are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the shrimp to marinate and 'cook' in the lime juice.

Mango Habanero Sauce Preparation

    Blend Sauce

    In a blender, combine the diced mango, habanero pepper, olive oil, minced garlic, and salt. Blend until smooth and well-combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

    Mix Ingredients

    After the shrimp have marinated, drain excess lime juice. Add the sliced cucumber and red onion to the shrimp. Pour the mango habanero sauce over the mixture and gently toss to combine all ingredients evenly.

Garnishing and Serving

    Transfer the aguachile to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped cilantro, additional sliced cucumber, and sliced mango on top.
