Shrimp Marinade

Method

Marinating the Shrimp

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a glass bowl, combine the raw shrimp with fresh lime juice and sea salt. Make sure the shrimp is fully submerged in the lime juice.

  2. 2

    Marinate

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the shrimp marinate in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes, or until the shrimp turns opaque and firm.

Preparing the Vegetables and Sauce

  1. 3

    Slice the Vegetables

While the shrimp is marinating, prepare the cucumber and red onion. Thinly slice them and set aside.

  2. 4

    Chop the Chili and Cilantro

Finely chop the serrano chili and fresh cilantro. Set them aside for later use.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 5

    Mix Ingredients

Once the shrimp is ready, drain excess lime juice and add the sliced cucumber, red onion, chopped serrano chili, and cilantro to the bowl.

  2. 6

    Add Tomato and Avocado

Gently fold in the diced tomato and avocado to the mixture, ensuring not to mash the avocado.

  3. 7

    Incorporate Pico de Gallo

Finally, add the pico de gallo and toss everything together until well combined.
