Method

Preparing the Steak

1

Marinate the Steak

In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and chopped rosemary. Rub the mixture all over the beef tenderloin steaks. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

2

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).

3

Grill the Steak

Place the marinated steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if you prefer your steak more well done. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness (135°F for medium-rare).

4

Rest the Steak

Once cooked to your desired doneness, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest on a cutting board for about 5 minutes before slicing.

Preparing the Vegetables

5

Chop the Vegetables

While the steak is marinating, chop the zucchini, bell pepper, and carrot into bite-sized pieces.

6

Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and once hot, add the chopped vegetables. Season with salt and black pepper. Sauté for about 7-10 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and lightly browned.

Serving

7

Plate the Dish

Slice the rested tenderloin steak and serve it alongside the sautéed seasonal vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
