Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine whiskey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until well blended. Place the rib-eye steak in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for more flavor.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a stovetop grill pan, heat it over medium-high heat on the stove.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Remove the steak from the marinade, letting any excess marinade drip off. Discard the marinade. Place the rib-eye on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.

  4. 4

    Rest and Serve

Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Slice against the grain and serve immediately.
