Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the mushrooms

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Make the patties

In a bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.

  3. 3

    Cook the patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the desired doneness is reached.

  4. 4

    Add cheese and mushrooms

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty and top with sautéed mushrooms. Cover to melt the cheese.

  5. 5

    Assemble the burgers

Toast the burger buns if desired. Place the patty with melted cheese and mushrooms on the bottom half of each bun. Top with dill pickle spears and the other half of the bun.
