Cupcake Preparation

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

Combine Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, vegetable oil, buttermilk, eggs, red food coloring, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Add White Chocolate
Melt the white chocolate and stir it into the batter, mixing until well incorporated.

Fill Cupcake Liners
Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with batter.

Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool
Remove from the oven and let cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Frosting Preparation

Make the Frosting
In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter together until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until smooth and fluffy.

Frost the Cupcakes
Once the cupcakes are completely cool, frost them generously with the cream cheese frosting.
