Directions
- 1
Prepare the Jalapenos
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes for a milder flavor.
- 2
Make the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sambal oelek until well blended. Adjust the sambal quantity to taste for desired spice level.
- 3
Stuff the Jalapenos
Using a spoon, fill each jalapeno half with the cream cheese mixture, packing it in well.
- 4
Wrap with Bacon
Wrap each stuffed jalapeno with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
- 5
Bake
Place the wrapped jalapenos on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
- 6
Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with sweet chili sauce for dipping.
