Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Blackening Seasoning

In a small bowl, combine paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, thyme, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Cheese Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cream cheese, gorgonzola cheese, scallions, and blackening seasoning. Mix until just combined. Form mixture into two equal patties.

  3. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels. Once cool, crumble the bacon.

  4. 4

    Cook the Patties

In the same skillet, cook the burger patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns if desired. Place the cooked patty on the bottom bun, top with crumbled candied bacon, and drizzle bleu cheese dressing. Place the top bun on and serve.
