Method
Chicken Marinade Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into thin strips, about 1 inch wide.
- 2
Make the Marinade
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, peanut butter, brown sugar, curry powder, minced garlic, grated ginger, lime juice, vegetable oil, and salt. Mix well until smooth.
- 3
Marinate the Chicken
Add the chicken strips to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.
Peanut Sauce Preparation
- 4
Make the Peanut Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, honey, and red pepper flakes. Gradually add water while stirring until you reach your desired sauce consistency.
- 5
Simmer the Sauce
Allow the sauce to simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
Grilling the Chicken

Prepare the Skewers
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.
- 7
Assemble the Skewers
Thread the marinated chicken strips onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

- 9
Serve the Dish
Remove the chicken skewers from the grill and serve hot with the peanut sauce on the side for dipping.
