Method

Salmon Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil, lemon juice, and season with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Roast the Salmon

Roast the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 3

    Lemon Caper Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and capers, sauté for 2-3 minutes. Stir in chopped parsley and serve over the roasted salmon.

  2. 4

    Whiskey Soy Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together whiskey, soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic. Drizzle over the roasted salmon before serving.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 5

    Make the Mashed Potatoes

Boil the peeled and cubed potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth.

Seasonal Vegetables

  1. 6

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the broccoli and carrots, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
