Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Pork Cutlets
Pound the pork cutlets to an even thickness, about 1/2 inch. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- 2
Breading the Cutlets
Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with bread crumbs. Dredge each cutlet in flour, dip in egg, and then coat with bread crumbs.
- 3
Cook the Pork Cutlets
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded cutlets for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Make the Whiskey Mushroom Gravy
In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are browned. Carefully add whiskey and let it reduce by half. Stir in beef broth and heavy cream. Simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.

- 6
Cook the Vegetables
Steam or sauté the seasonal vegetables until tender but still crisp.
- 7
Serve
Plate the pork cutlets with a generous drizzle of whiskey mushroom gravy. Serve with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables on the side.
